These terms apply when you use areyoubored.net. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the site.

What this site is

areyoubored.net offers small things to read and play with on a quick break: quizzes, jokes, horoscopes, light tools. The site is free and may be supported by advertising.

How you may use it

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access this site for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

What you may not do

You agree not to:

• Use this site to violate any law or third-party right.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute substantial portions of the site without our written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the site.
• Use automated means to access the site in a way that materially burdens our infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise try to derive the source code of the site.
• Submit deceptive, harassing, or unlawful content through the contact form.

Our content vs. your content

The site, including its name, design, layout, text, graphics, and original code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Trademarks and brand names mentioned in content (where applicable) belong to their respective owners.

The site does not currently accept user-submitted content other than what you send us through the Contact page. Anything you send through that form, we may use only to respond to you. If we ever add broader user-submitted content, additional terms will apply.

Third-party links and ads

The site may link to or include content from third parties, including advertisers. When ads are enabled, they are served by Google AdSense. Following an external link or interacting with an ad takes you off this site, where the third party’s own terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of any third party.

CONTENT ON THE SITE, INCLUDING HOROSCOPES, QUIZ ANSWERS, JOKES, AND TRIVIA, IS PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED ON FOR MEDICAL, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

Limitation of liability

Indemnification

Governing law and where disputes go

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or this site that we cannot resolve informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland, with the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus) as the court of first instance.

EU consumer rights

If you use this site as a consumer in the European Economic Area, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition to these terms, and nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under those laws. EU consumers may also access the European Commission’s online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
